About this event
An event for professionals and women with lived experience to coproduce an Act 2 for Lincolnshire women's whole system approach.
In 2022, the Lincolnshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner launched the Lincolnshire Women and Girls Concordat, which was a commitment for agencies to work together to improve outcomes for Lincolnshire women and girls at risk of entering, or who have already entered, the criminal justice sector. 27 organisations became signatories to the Concordat, agreeing to work together to address the needs of women, prevent trauma from happening and promote recovery if trauma had already been experienced.
In 2023, Lincolnshire Action Trust (LAT) launched the first-ever Women's Centre in Lincolnshire to support the aims of the Concordat, creating Women RISE. In 2024, we partnered with Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) to identify and drive system change needed in Lincolnshire to support work with women and girls. In 2025, LAT supported professionals to conduct the first Women's Rough Sleeping Census for Lincolnshire, providing data for the first time to evidence the disadvantage these women have faced.
This interactive and co-produced event is for practitioners, commissioners, senior leaders, women, and girls with lived experience of multiple disadvantage in Greater Lincolnshire. We will hear from leaders in our local and national systems working to improve outcomes for women and hear from Greater Lincolnshire women with lived experience of navigating complex services and systems. They will tell their story in their own voices.
There will also be an opportunity for you to contribute your experiences of accessing, delivering, and designing services as we consider our collective system challenges and co-produce a shared vision for how we move forward in partnership to change the system for women and girls.
Please come along and add your voice to the women, practitioners, and leaders in Greater Lincolnshire as we look at what we have learnt in Act 1 and prepare for Act 2.
