Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week

Looking to network with local businesses in and around Peterborough for free? This could be the the event for you.

Our July business networking event in Peterborough is Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week. This felt like the perfect week for our networking event because we want to support the local business community. This local community is made up of independent retailers, as well as a wide range of other businesses and industries.

We will be running Peterborough is Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week at a small, independent and new bar called Tipsy Cow. This new bar is based in the city centre. It is being run by Will of Realise Finance, a local accountancy firms that helps many local businesses, including independent retailers.

July is also National Blueberry Month. The Tipsy Cow are kindly offering the space and venue free of charge, along with a blueberry drink to celebrate National Blueberry Month. Attendees are invited to come along for free and are welcome to purchase any other drinks at the bar during or after the event.

Attendees will then present their business to the room for up to 1 minute. This is your chance to share what you do, how you do it and who you do it for. Attendees to Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week will then share their favourite local independent retailer.

The Business Networking Celebrates National Independent Retailers Week event officially ends at 5pm. However, attendees are welcome to stay after, purchase a drink and network further.

- 15:00 — Informal Networking: Attendees can network informally.
- 15:30 — Introduction by Venue Owner: The owner of The Tipsy Cow will introduce the event.
- 15:45 — Presentation on Independent Retailers: Will from Realise Finance will present on how they support independent retailers.
- 16:00 — Attendee Presentations: Attendees present their business to the room for up to 1 minute.
- 16:30 — Favorite Independent Retailer Share: Attendees share their favorite local independent retailer.
