Whether you're a seasoned software engineer, a low-code wizard, a UI/UX designer, or someone with deep domain experience in property and workspace operations, this is your chance to experiment, build, and connect with Nottingham's tech community.

Managed office spaces are evolving fast, but operators and tenants still face big friction points—from clunky room bookings and tenant engagement to energy management and operational inefficiency.

Your goal: Build an intelligent, scalable prototype that improves how flexible workspaces operate, serve tenants, or run efficiently.

We welcome traditional code, low-code tools, and modern AI/vibecoding workflows (v0, Cursor, Bolt, LLM APIs). If it works and solves the problem, it counts!

Don’t have a team? No problem! While you're welcome to bring a pre-formed group of up to 5, most participants match up on the morning. We’ll run a fast, effortless team-matching session during breakfast using skill badges so everyone finds a crew before hacking starts at 09:30 AM.

Top projects will be showcased across Built in Notts channels, with opportunities to put your ideas directly in front of property operators and community leaders.
