About this event

This month we are joined by Paul Wilkinson, Chief Executive of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust who will share the ambitions of the Wildlife Trust and the ever rising importance of protecting existing and developing new nature and wildlife sites.

Join us at our usual monthly event of networking, two-course lunch and a great speaker as always.

Agenda

- 11:45 — Registration: Arrival at 11:45, sign in and collect your badge before being escorted into the reception area.
- 11.45am-12.30pm — Networking over pre-lunch drinks.: Enjoy a bit of opening networking with the other members and guests of the lunch. Drink included.
- 12.30pm — Two course lunch and guest speaker.: Sit down for a two course lunch including a starter and a main followed by coffee. After lunch the guest speaker will take to the podium for their speech.
- 2.45pm — Finish.: The meeting and lunch is drawn to a close.
- 2.45pm — Continue the conversation: Guests and members are invited to continue their discussions at Saltbox.

Speakers

Paul Wilkinson — Chief Executive
Before joining the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust as CEO in January 2019, Paul worked in the UK Office of The Wildlife Trusts, where he led on national policy issues such as farming, climate change, planning, water and landscape scale conservation, and also on national strategic relationships with businesses and key funders. Paul has also worked for the Wildlife Trusts in the East of England as Regional Policy Director, and with Norfolk County Council and a small environmental education charity. He is a member of the East Midlands Mayor’s Nature and Biodiversity Taskforce and is a long standing Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
