Newark & Lincoln Speakers Club Meeting

Join our Speakers Club Meeting - a fun and supportive space to practice public speaking where voices grow and nerves vanish.

You'll learn as much from our speakers as you will about yourself with the added bonus of improving your skills for public and extemporaneous speaking.

We are now back meeting in person.

Newark Speakers host their meetings on the 1st Monday in the month at Newark and the 3rd Monday at Bingham.

The 2-hr. meeting on Mondays starts @ 7:15 pm for a 7:30 start. Register on Eventbrite.

The Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC) exists to help people become better speakers, better presenters and better leaders. At your local Speakers Club, you can become a better speaker and presenter in a welcoming and mutually supportive environment. Enjoy gaining skills and confidence in:

• speaking in public
• making professional presentations
• contributing effectively to meetings.

You will be guided through a series of speeches with structured and constructive evaluations from fellow members, helping you to overcome your fears and become a competent speaker. People from all walks of life join Speakers Clubs, including those who need speaking skills for their jobs or for social activities.


Agenda

- 19:30 — President’s Welcome and Warm Up: An introduction to the evening and ice-breaker activities.
- 19:45 — Chair’s Introduction of the evening Including Chief Time-keeper: Introduction to the agenda and key roles for the meeting.
