Join our Speakers Club Meeting - a fun and supportive space to practice public speaking where voices grow and nerves vanish.

You'll learn as much from our speakers as you will about yourself with the added bonus of improving your skills for public and extemporaneous speaking.

Newark Speakers host their meetings on the 1st Monday in the month at Newark and the 3rd Monday at Bingham.

The Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC) exists to help people become better speakers, better presenters and better leaders, and it works. Newark Speakers Club is just one of the clubs located throughout Great Britain. At your local Speakers Club, you can become a better speaker and presenter in a welcoming and mutually supportive environment. Enjoy gaining skills and confidence in:

• speaking in public

• making professional presentations

• contributing effectively to meetings

You will learn to listen creatively, to speak off the cuff, and to hold an audience and move them to laughter, tears and action, to evaluate others fairly and constructively, and to listen judiciously. Most importantly, you’ll have fun along the way.

- 19:30 — President’s Welcome and Warm Up: Opening remarks and warm-up activities.
- 19:45 — Chair’s Introduction of the evening Including Chief Time-keeper: Introduction to the evening's proceedings, including timing management.
