Southwell Circular Walk

Join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon exploring one of Nottinghamshire’s most scenic circular walks, followed by optional food or drink at The Final Whistle.

We’ll meet at 1:00pm at the Southwell Trail car park on Station Road (just beyond The Final Whistle), before setting off along the old Southwell Trail, a peaceful former railway line surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Our route takes us to the charming hamlet of Maythorne, where we’ll stop for a short break at The Old Lodge, overlooking the fishing lake. We’ll then return via the picturesque River Greet, enjoying lovely riverside views as we make our way back to Southwell.

This easy four-mile walk is perfect for meeting new people, enjoying some fresh air and making the most of a Sunday afternoon. Children and well-behaved dogs are very welcome!
